About Totally Flying
Totally Flying, was formed in the summer of 2009 to address a very simple problem - there wasn't a comprehensive directory of flying businesses on the Internet. There are many Web sites out there that provide a partial view, but no single site was really doing enough - information was patchy, inconsistent or (sometimes VERY) poorly presented.
Our Mission:
1. Allow people looking for flying-related businesses - be it fixed wing aircraft, helicopter, microlight, gliding, parachuting, ballooning, even R/C - the means to easily find what they're looking for, and to make the connection that gets them airborne.
2. Give flying businesses of all sizes a forum for promoting themselves, and allow businesses to advertise their services directly to the people most interested in knowing!
About the Founder:
Rob Bull
Rob is a Flying Instructor currently flying out of Southend Airport in the UK, and has worked within the Aviation industry for several years. Previously, he was a Regional Sales Manager for a large international construction design and supply company, with responsibility for the management and design of equipment used in contracts such as Heathrow Terminal 5, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the O2 (previously the Millennium dome).
But that just wasn’t enough challenge and excitement, and so now he can be found at an airfield almost every day.
Rob had the original brain child for Totally Flying, which was inspired by the countless hours lost just trying to find simple details and contacts. ‘Isn’t it time we brought the small world of flying together?’
